Vacation to Davis Mountains
The family and I just got back from our vacation to the Davis Mountains. The Davis Mountains State Park is located in West Texas about an hour and a half southwest of Fort Stockton and just north of Big Bend country. It’s literally a different world out there, isolated from just about everything and everyone. The coolest part while we were out there was the Star Party at the McDonald Observatory. It made the entire vacation. I highly recommend it if you are into Astronomy. Unfortunately, given the nature of the event, no pictures. HDR Photography
HDR or High Dynamic Range is a way of combining multiple exposures in order to get a desired exposure. Often we take pictures of landscapes, sunsets, buildings or anything that inspires emotion but the end result is not how we remember the image when we were there. HDR is a technique used to achieve either a natural or an artistic look. In this tutorial I’m going to walk you through what it takes to get started working with HDR.
