Favorite type of Photography
At this point I think it’s safe to say that my favorite type of Photography is taken at night and sunset. Colors and textures just seem to come alive at this time. The camera Im using is a Canon EOS 40d. The lenses include a Canon 28-135 UMS, 10-22 UMS and a 50mm f1/8 prime. Photoshop and iPhoto are what Im using to do my post work. iPhoto is more for the quick edits and casual .jpg shooting. If you have any questions please fill free to contact me. What is Aperture?
Aperture as it relates to Photography is the hole or opening located in the cameras lens. The Aperture value is what determines the amount or rate of light that can enter into the camera at any given time the shutter is opened. This is not to be confused with Shutter speed, which determines the duration of light flowing into the camera. Aperture, or F-stop as it is also called, is indicated by an f/ number. The smaller the number, the larger(or faster) the aperture(more light). The larger the number, the smaller(or slower) the aperture(less light). Why does this matter? Mac Mini hard drive Upgrade
Well I just finished upgrading my new Mac Mini by replacing the somewhat slow 160 GB 5200rpm HD that came with it to a much faster 320 GB 7200rpm Western Digital model. My old Mac Mini had this drive. So I spent last night doing a drive swap between the two computers. I will say upgrading the mac mini is not for the faint of heart. YouTube some tutorials of it if you’d like to find out why. However, after swapping out the drives It was very much plug and play. I just turned the new Mini back on and picked up where I left off.
